Cutting back limbs improves safety
RWR Forestry completed mechanical limb management along 55 shoulder miles in McCormick County. By raising limbs up to 20 feet and cutting back overhanging branches, we improved safety by eliminating potential hazards for drivers along this stretch of road. Getting rid of the limbs will also let more sunlight reach the pavement, so it can dry out faster after it rains, and prevent ice during the colder months.
Results:
✔️ Improved visibility and clearance for vehicles
✔️ Prevent ice during winter months
✔️ Long-term protection of roadway infrastructure
RWR Forestry is keeping South Carolina roads clear, safe, and efficient—season after season.
